Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information and browser technologies connected with the Idioms by Toolsyte website.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Introduction

This policy covers your use of idioms.toolsyte.com. It distinguishes between features in use now and services that may be introduced later.

Information you provide

The interactive idiom experience does not require account registration, and there is currently no contact form. If you email us, your message may contain information you voluntarily provide.

Browser storage

The site currently uses localStorage to remember saved idiom IDs and discovered idiom IDs. These records are associated with the browser and device you use. They are not traditional cookies, and the site does not represent them as encrypted.

If localStorage is unavailable, the interactive experience can still run, but saved or discovered progress may not persist between visits.

Automatically collected information

Like most hosted websites, the web server or hosting provider may generate routine logs needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service. Depending on hosting configuration, these logs may include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser information, and error details. The public project code does not define a custom server-log retention period.

Analytics

No analytics service is currently installed in the public website code. If analytics is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe its use and any relevant choices.

Advertising

Advertising is not currently installed in the public website code. Services such as Google AdSense may be introduced in the future. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies, their data practices will be subject to their own policies, and consent controls may be provided where legally required.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our current use of localStorage and the distinction between browser storage and cookies are explained in the Cookie Policy.

Third-party services

The site requests its typeface from Google Fonts when pages load and links to Toolsyte. These third parties may process requests under their own privacy policies. External websites and any future service providers are responsible for their own practices.

Data retention

Saved and discovered idiom IDs remain in localStorage until you clear site or browser data, the application removes them, or browser storage is otherwise reset. We do not invent a retention period for hosting logs or voluntary communications that is not defined by the relevant system.

Children's privacy

The site provides general language-learning content and is not designed to request personal information from children. If you are responsible for a child using the site, you may review the browser-storage information in this policy and manage site data through the browser.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site, its technology, or legal obligations change. The date above will be revised when material changes are published.
